World Delirium Awareness Day 2024

"It is a really serious problem with some fairly serious outcomes."

World Delirium Awareness Day 2024, March 13th, is an opportunity to highlight the significant impact delirium can have on patients, families, and the healthcare service.

Geriatrician Dr Will Browne from Eastern Health Maroondah gives his insights into the severity of the condition, and how partnering in care with families and friends, is the first step to identifying delirium so treatment can occur.
