Police and protesters clashed in Los Angeles on May 3 during a demonstration against a leaked draft Supreme Court opinion that would overturn the landmark Roe v Wade decision protecting abortion rights.
Footage posted to Twitter shows a large crowd of protesters at Pershing Square where police said one officer was injured after rocks and bottles were thrown at officers.
Separate footage posted to Twitter shows officers cracking down on demonstrators.
A citywide tactical alert was declared.
