This session provides an overview of NIFA’s contributions to promoting youth voice in advancing food and nutrition security. The session includes youths sharing reflections on ways they have provided insights on a variety of efforts including the historic White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition and Health held last September and the new Agricultural Science Center of Excellence for Nutrition and Diet for Better Health (ASCEND for Better Health) in support of President Biden’s Cancer Moonshot effort to end cancer as we know it.
