Mental Health In The Climate Crisis Panel Discussion Global Development Hub

Join an expert panel to discuss the effects of climate change on mental health and wellbeing, and what is being done to address this new, growing anxiety across the globe.
The growing impacts of climate change have been keenly felt across the world, not only with the threats to the planet and environment, but also to the health of people in different communities across the world. The impacts of climate change on health and wellbeing range from those facing the direct impacts of rising sea levels and extreme weather conditions, to eco-anxiety and pollution, placing new pressures across science and global policy to understand more about the links between climate change and health, and collaborate to think of effective solutions.
For the February 2022 SDG of the Month event, the Global Development Hub brings together an expert panel to discuss how climate change is and will affect the wellbeing and resilience of current and future generations, and what is being done to address this new, growing anxiety across the world.
