Ev Webinar Series Vehicle Miles Traveled Analysis Electrification Potential Of The Houston Region

Bridget Gilmore, a second-year M.E.M. candidate at the Yale School of the Environment studying business, energy, and the environment, will present her analysis of publicly available vehicle miles traveled data and learnings of the associated emissions in the Houston region. Knowing pick-up trucks are an essential consumer and fleet vehicle, this information will clearly illustrate the market opportunity for electric truck proliferation in Houston.

Gilmore has focused her work on reducing emissions from the transportation sector through increased electrification from renewable energy generation. Over the summer, Bridget was an Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps fellow at EVolve Houston and worked with the Commercialization & Infrastructure and Policy Working Groups.
