It certainly looks like there is a cost attached to following Trump. The GOP is still learning that, all those people who gave Trump money to run casinos learned that the hard way and the latest to learn about the cost of following Trump is Fox News and Newsmax.
Fox News and Newsmax did a fact check on themselves. Running segments, that, debunked the theories that they themselves presented to their viewers. Smartmatic, the company that Newsmax and Foxnews, repeatedly tried to connect with election fraud, sent a letter, asking them to forcefully and immediately clear the company’s name. And more than the letter, the person who sent the letter, would have made it clear to Fox News and Newsmax, where exactly the letter would have moved their ship towards.
Smartmatic, hired, J. Erik Connolly, an attorney, who won the largest settlement in the history of American media defamation in 2017. And he made ABC news pay up $177 million for calling his client’s lean finely textured beef as Pink Slime .
And Erik Connolly does have one heck of case in his hand. There was literally no evidence to prove that there was voter fraud as Fox News and Newsmax kept talking about in the last one month. 160 million ballots were cast in this election, and there is no proof of fraud to toss out even 160 ballots.
