Armistice Day Marked In Dunedin

Amid the bustle of late morning Dunedin traffic, more than 100 people stood quietly for a solemn ceremony marking the end of World War One hostilities.

The war that killed more than 18,000 New Zealanders ended 95 years ago.

But the very old were joined in the Queens Gardens by the very young, and it is the latter group organisers expect will make the tradition their own.
