About Video:-

The water cycle, also known as the hydrologic cycle, is the continuous movement of water on, above, and below the surface of the Earth. The cycle is driven by energy from the sun and involves several processes, including evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and runoff.

Here are the stages of the water cycle:

Evaporation: This is the process in which water changes from a liquid to a gas (water vapor) due to heat from the sun. The main sources of water for evaporation are the oceans, lakes, and rivers.

Transpiration: This is the process in which plants release water vapor through their leaves into the atmosphere.

Condensation: This is the process in which water vapor changes back into liquid water. This occurs when the water vapor cools and forms clouds.

Precipitation: This is the process in which water falls from the atmosphere to the Earth's surface in the form of rain, snow, sleet, or hail.

Infiltration: This is the process in which precipitation that falls on land is absorbed into the soil.

Runoff: This is the process in which excess water that cannot be absorbed by the soil flows over the surface of the land and into rivers, lakes, and oceans.

The water cycle is important for maintaining the Earth's ecosystems and providing fresh water for human consumption.
