The trial of the former Doraville police officer accused of kidnapping and murdering a 16-year-old girl begins in Gwinnett County.

Myles Bryant is facing charges of felony and malice murder, criminal attempt to commit rape, false report of a crime, and more in the death of 16-year-old Susana Morales.

Officials say that Bryant abducted Morales as she walked home from a friend's house in July 2022, killed her, and dumped her naked body in the woods.
