Two Civilians Killed After Russian Airstrikes Destroy Apartments In Kyiv Ukraine

At least two people were killed after multiple buildings were reportedly hit by Russian shells, sparking several fires in the Svyatoshinsky district of Kyiv on March 17.

This footage filmed by Alex Lourie shows buildings engulfed by flames as emergency crews worked to extinguish the blaze.

According to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (SES), one blaze was extinguished and one person was found dead just after 5 pm local time.

The SES also said that another call was received about a fire in a nearby warehouse, where another person was also killed.

Authorities said there was a threat of a shell explosion at the warehouse fire and due to this the fire was extinguished from a safe distance.
