On July 10, 2017 the SETA Foundation at Washington DC hosted an event discussing "Turkey: A Year After the July 15 Coup Attempt". The panelists included Ambassador James Jeffrey, Philip Solondz Distinguished Fellow, The Washington Institute for Near East Policy; Colonel Richard Outzen, Senior U.S. Army Advisor & Member of Policy Planning Staff, U.S. Department of State; Nursin Guney, Professor of International Relations, Yildiz Technical University; and Murat Yesiltas, Director of Security Studies, The SETA Foundation. Kilic Kanat, Research Director, The SETA Foundation at Washington DC, moderated the panel.
