Donald Trump has been acquitted on the first impeachment charge in his historic Senate trial, abuse of power.
The US Senate voted 52-48 to clear the US President of the first article on Wednesday night.
One Republican, Mitt Romney, joined the Democrats in voting for conviction.
No Democrats voted for acquittal.
A vote on a second charge, of obstructing Congress, is still to come.
