In this special investigation, Four Corners tells the stories of Indigenous women whose deaths and disappearances have been overlooked for far too long. We examine the cries for help that went unheard and the appalling lack of resources for women at risk of domestic violence.
With no official records kept, the investigation establishes for the first time the staggering number of women who have been murdered over the past 20 years.
Canada calls it a genocide. The United States considers it an epidemic. But Australia is only just waking up to the scale of this crisis hidden in plain sight.
