Systems Work Collaboration Putting The Two Together To Create Lasting Collective Change

At the heart of collaboration are relationships. Yet, sometimes in our quest for social impact, we rush ahead to "do" things rather than first learn how to "be" together. Systems Work involves the day-to-day activities that keep us in relationship with one another, ultimately forming the "action systems" that allow us to change the world while learning together. In this workshop-style session, we will look at the lessons from several case studies and then discuss together the ways in which these activities can be applied to our own collaborative work.

Cynthia Rayner joined the Collaborations Team of Catalyst 2030 to use the insights from her recently published book "The Social Work of Systems Change" to help Catalyst members think through their collaborations.
