After spending five days in Rome and one day traveling by train, I’d like to share my experiences from this amazing trip. Taking the night train was a new adventure for us, and we were curious about what it would be like to sleep in a sleeper car. Unfortunately, we didn’t get much sleep because the noise from the tracks kept us awake most of the night.

When we arrived at Termini Station, we were immediately struck by the lively atmosphere and the large number of tourists. It felt exciting to be in such a bustling place. Our first stop was the impressive Colosseum, which took our breath away. Walking through the ancient ruins of the Roman Forum afterward made us appreciate how people built these incredible structures using only their own strength and skills.

We also visited the famous Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. While both were beautiful, they were crowded with visitors. I completely understand why locals might feel frustrated with so many tourists in these popular spots.

Another highlight of our trip was visiting Vatican City. It was amazing to see such a significant place filled with art and history. To our surprise, we even found a Jollibee there, which reminded us of the Philippines! Of course, we couldn’t miss out on trying gelato and the famous pizza. Each meal was a delight, and the flavors were unforgettable.

Overall, this trip was both fun and educational. We carefully planned our itinerary to make sure we could see all the must-see attractions in this historic city. Rome truly impressed us with its rich history, vibrant culture, and the warm Italian lifestyle.

I highly recommend visiting Rome to anyone who loves history and culture. Experiencing the city’s charm and beauty in person is something you won’t forget.

Matapos ang limang araw sa Roma at isang araw na naglakbay sa tren, nais kong ibahagi ang aking mga karanasan mula sa kamangha-manghang biyaheng ito. Ang pagsakay sa night train ay isang bagong karanasan para sa amin, at sabik kaming malaman kung paano matulog sa isang sleeper car. Sa kasamaang palad, hindi kami masyadong nakatulog dahil sa ingay mula sa mga riles na patuloy na nagpatakbo.

Pagdating namin sa Termini Station, agad kaming nahulog sa masiglang atmospera at sa maraming turista. Napaka-exciting na maramdaman na nasa isang masiglang lugar. Ang unang lugar na aming pinuntahan ay ang kahanga-hangang Koloseo, na talagang humanga sa amin. Ang paglalakad sa mga sinaunang guho ng Roman Forum ay nagbigay sa amin ng mas malalim na pag-unawa kung paano nagawa ng mga tao sa nakaraan ang mga kamangha-manghang estruktura gamit ang kanilang sariling lakas.

Bumisita rin kami sa sikat na Trevi Fountain at sa Spanish Steps. Bagaman maganda ang mga ito, talagang punung-puno ito ng tao. Nauunawaan ko kung bakit maaaring makaramdam ng inis ang mga lokal sa dami ng mga turista sa mga pook na ito.

Isang highlight ng aming biyahe ay ang pagbisita sa Vatican City, kung saan nakatagpo kami ng isang Jollibee isang masayang alaala mula sa Pilipinas! Siyempre, hindi namin nakalimutan ang subukan ang gelato at ang sikat na pizza. Ang bawat pagkain ay isang kasiyahan, at ang mga lasa ay tunay na hindi malilimutan.

Sa kabuuan, ang biyaheng ito ay parehong masaya at nakapag-aral. Maingat naming pinlano ang aming mga aktibidad upang matiyak na makikita namin ang lahat ng mga dapat bisitahin sa makasaysayang lungsod na ito. Talagang humanga sa amin ang Roma sa kanyang mayamang kasaysayan, masiglang kultura, at mainit na pakikitungo ng mga tao.

Lubos kong inirerekomenda ang pagbisita sa Roma para sa sinumang mahilig sa kasaysayan at kultura. Ang karanasan sa ganda at alindog ng lungsod nang personal ay isang bagay na tiyak na hindi mo malilimutan.
