The Sri Lankan government imposed 10-hour daily power cuts across the country on March 30 amidst a severe economic crisis. Sri Lanka is facing an unprecedented acute economic and energy crisis caused due to shortage of foreign exchange.Since the beginning of March, there have been seven-hour power cuts in the island country.
