SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket delivered SES-10, a commercial communications satellite for SES, to a Geostationary Transfer Orbit.
SES-10 was launched from the historic Launch Complex 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The launch occurred at 10:27 p.m. UTC. The satellite got deployed approximately 32 minutes after launch.
The SES-10 mission marked a historic milestone on the road to full and rapid reusabilty as this was the first reflight of an orbital class rocket. Falcon 9's first for the SES-10 mission was previously used for the launch of the CRS-8 mission to the International Space Station. The SES-10 booster landed on "Of Course I Still Love You" droneship that was stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
