RMIT Research is developing an integrated capability in nanotechnology. This comprises the design and modelling of nanomaterials and nanostructures, the synthesis of functional materials, and the fabrication and characterisation of novel nano-scale devices.
This integrated capability in nanotechnology focuses on discovery-type fundamental research and also the development of application products in specific areas such as security and air/water purification.
