Republican Senators Lamar Alexander (Tenn.), John Thune (S.D.), Mike Johanns (Neb.), and Bob Bennett (Utah) point out that Democratic health care proposals would raise taxes, increase the debt, cut Medicare, and impose more unfunded mandates on states.
