STORYLINE
Britain's Prince Charles joined war veterans at the Cenotaph in central London on Sunday to pay his respects to Britain's war dead and commemorate the end of the war in Europe 60 years ago .
Prince Charles, along with veterans and active members of the armed forces, laid a wreath at the memorial.
His new wife, Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall was also at the ceremony.
Later on Sunday, several thousand people were expected to attend a VE (Victory in Europe) commemoration concert in Trafalgar Square featuring British pop stars and wartime singer Vera Lynn.
