Breakout Room 1: Prevention of the movement of funds, people and weapons
On Thursday March 11, 1600-1730 (CET / GMT+1) ICCT hosted an online Presentation of Part III of the Handbook of Terrorism Prevention and Preparedness.
This Handbook aims to be an authoritative resource on anticipatory counter-terrorism and features contributions from 40 experts in the field. Prof. em. Schmid, former Officer-in-Charge of the UN Terrorism Prevention Branch in Vienna, and a Research Fellow of ICCT, will discuss Part III of the Handbook in cooperation with its authors from part III. This part focuses on the Prevention of Preparatory acts.
The event was divided over two breakout groups. The first breakout group focused on prevention of movements of funds, people and weapons. The second breakout group focused on prevention of extremist ideology and information.
