Pregnant Women Shackled Giving Birth

In 2012 there was a hearing on the issue of the shackling of Pregnant female prisoners during labor and delivery in Virginia. Testimony was given by Latanya Renee Walker in regards to her imprisoned pregnant daughter being shackled by the hands and legs during delivery of her Grandchild. Herb Lux who attended the hearing also and was there in support of Ms Walker and the Bill.
