Case #22-5639. This incident occurred on Thursday, February 17, 2022, when dispatch received a call from a victim of domestic violence at 4899 Willow Road. Pleasanton officers arrived on scene and found 33-year-old Cody Chavez inside the victim’s apartment. After several hours, Mr. Chavez exited the apartment armed with a knife. Mr. Chavez charged at officers and an officer-involved shooting occurred. Mr. Chavez was pronounced dead at the scene.
