New Directions In Health Care 14

After Republicans repealed Obamacare's individual mandate in December, the debate is now most active on the left. Should the United States adopt a single-payer healthcare system? A public option? What does all this jargon mean? On April 3, 2018, the PSU invited two distinguished healthcare experts to discuss these questions and the future of American healthcare policy.

Speakers:
Paul Song, MD is a physician, progressive activist and biotechnology executive. He serves as co-chair of the Campaign for a Healthy California.

Gerald Kominski, PhD is a Professor of Health Policy and Management and Director of the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research. His research focuses on evaluating the costs and financing of public insurance programs.
