In this video I tell you my opinion of Neddy Smith from my perspective.
Neddy Smith was definitely a product of the system. Institutionalised and brutalised early by the system, this serves only as his apprenticeship into how to treat people to get what you want in life. In Neddys case it taught him to be brutal.
To understand ‘horrible’ people, understand where they have been. People are not born bad, they are created by their environment.
Trauma affects everyone differently, some don’t react, others become violent and others bottle it up and then go home and be horrible to their families.
I’ve always said, show me a criminal and I’ll show you their trauma.
