Living Donation Week 2020, hosted by the Centre for Living Organ Donation at UHN, is the first annual week-long event to bring together liver and kidney transplant researchers and clinicians, referring centre partners, community leaders, students, living donors, transplant recipients, and caregivers from across Canada and beyond.
All sessions from Living Donation Week are eligible for self-learning/self-study activity credits in accordance with requirements of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Section 2) and the College of Family Physicians of Canada (non-certified).
The Centre for Living Organ Donation was created by UHN Transplant (now the Ajmera Transplant Centre) in 2018 to improve access to living organ donation for people who need a life-saving kidney or liver transplant and those who want to give a transformative gift of life. We raise awareness, provide support, promote research and offer hope to thousands of people who are waiting for a kidney or liver transplant - and everyone who wants to be part of their future.
