57-year-old Fikret Gözcü was suffering from end-stage-liver disease (ESLD) which is the final stage of liver cirrhosis It is an insidious disease which can progress over months,years or decases without being notices. Liver disease common symptoms include loss of appetite, nausea, easy bleeding/bruising,and yellowing of the skin and eyes.

The only effective treatment for people with End-Stage-Liver- Disease is a Liver Transplant. Liver transplant surgery is one of the most complicated interventions, and for many patients it is a chance for a new normal healthy life.
