Leo Makeup Tutorial Zodiac Series

Welcome to my 8th installment of my Makeup of the Zodiac series, this time featuring Leo. This time I decided not to really explain the steps of this look, but instead talked about how I came up with it. If you would like me to explain makeup looks in the future like this let me know...otherwise if you prefer I just explain the steps it's no biggie :)

ABOUT THE SERIES ↓
The Makeup of the Zodiac Series is my first makeup series where I create extreme, theatrical looks of each sign based on my personal interpretation of the sign's characteristics and symbolism. These looks will not follow the typical interpretations people have done in the past (i.e.; many people do a mermaid look for Pisces, but I don't want to do that). I try to upload a new look once per month.

ABOUT LEO
Leos are what you would call a "performer" - they like being center stage, leading others, and are also very creative and enthusiastic. Their personalities can be quiet fiery, which some may feel is overbearing, but they'll never be the quiet ones in the corner of room content with working in the background.

I had a look already designed for Leo but when I first recorded it, it wasn't really showing up on video, which man....jimmies profusely rustled. So I came up with this look on the fly because I didn't really have time to do trial runs for other makeup ideas (very busy with work; had to stay up 24hrs just to fit this video in). It's based off several Alex Box makeup looks and it's meant to look like I'm a performer, with no real concrete lines because Leo isn't exactly a down-to-earth sign. At the same time I also included its element (fire) in the makeup look. And since it's not uncommon to see Leos on stage, I thought making it look like a mask made sense.

I plan to have VIRGO up in the middle of October since Leo was up a bit late. Sorry about that!
