In this tutorial I'll show how to draw a Chocolate Labrador in pastels. How to draw fur in pastels relies on layers and pencil technique. Drawing a Labrador typically requires us to draw a shine in the fur whilst also keeping the fur soft. I feel that the correct layering process is what achieves this along with how we hold and use the pencil. Drawing fine details in pastel pencils relies on the amount of pressure we are using and where on the pencil we are holding it.
