On Thursday, House Democrat impeachment managers laid out their case for abuse of power, the first of two articles of impeachment against President Trump.

Over another nine-hour session, the House managers attempted to persuade senators that the evidence presented in part one of their opening arguments is grounds for Trump's removal from office based on the Constitution.
The president is accused of holding up nearly $400 million in military aid money and a desired White House meeting in order to pressure Ukraine to commit to investigations that would benefit Trump in 2020. He was impeached in the House on two articles of impeachment: abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
