In this episode of Urban Debate, anchor Ritangshu Bhattacharya discusses how Two flights, one from Akasa Air and another from IndiGo, received bomb threats on Wednesday, which were later confirmed as hoaxes. This marks the 12th such incident in the past three days. A Delhi-bound IndiGo flight from Mumbai was diverted to Ahmedabad on Tuesday night due to a hoax bomb threat, and on Wednesday, an Akasa Air flight bound for Bengaluru returned to Delhi following a similar threat. In response, the Central government is considering measures like adding hoax callers to a 'no-fly list' and increasing the presence of air marshals on flights.
