In a statement, he cited a lack of transparency in the commission's work, including the unclear process of staff selection and financial accountability, as well as poor internal communication. Fr. Zollner will continue to work with the Institute of Anthropology at the Pontifical Gregorian University and the Diocese of Rome as an advisor.
