The Fort Smith Trolley Museum is a streetcar and railroad museum in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The museum opened in 1985 and houses a large collection of motive power and rolling stock. The museum runs regular trips over its almost one mile of track from the museum down Garrison Avenue through the town’s historical district and back.
In this video from the summer of 2014, we see Birney Safety Streetcar no. 224 from 1926 leave the car barn and make its way along the track. We also get an impression from inside the car barn as well as of the museum surroundings.
