Federal Judge Hears Progress Made By Bpd Under Consent Decree

A federal judge on Thursday heard about progress the Baltimore Police Department has made on issues including integrity, accountability, staffing, stops and searches, use of force and interactions with youth. The U.S. Department of Justice, the consent decree team monitoring police reform and the police department said much has changed in the past five years since Baltimore and the city police entered into a consent decree with the federal government, but still, more needs to be done.
