Father Of Toronto Suspect Leaves Court After Sons Appearance

(24 Apr 2018) The father of the 25-year-old who plowed a van into a crowded Toronto sidewalk refused to answer questions following a court appearance for his son Tuesday morning.
Vahe Minassian walked out of the courthouse silently, soon after Alek Minassian was ordered held Tuesday on 10 counts of murder 13 of attempted murder.
Alek Minassian showed little overt emotion as he made a brief appearance in a Toronto courtroom in a white jumpsuit and handcuffs.
The judge ordered him detained without bond and scheduled the next hearing for May 10.
