Mental health problems are over-represented in healthcare workers, including doctors and psychiatrists. However, stigma and shame are major barriers for them to access mental healthcare services and many people continue to suffer in silence. In this talk, psychiatry clinical fellow Dr Ahmed Hankir from King's College London will discuss how Experts by Personal and Professional Experience (EPPE) - or "Wounded Healers" - can help reduce mental health stigma.
