Studies show that most schools are at least 50 YEARS behind the times!! The world is changing so rapidly that outdated schooling methods are no longer relevant or exciting for our children.
Before the Industrial Revolution, formal schooling was scarce. Thus, majority of children were homeschooled. They lived with their parents and learned everything from their family. In today's world, however, homeschooling has developed a negative connotation from those in governmental positions who believe that our children learn best under their supervision!
With a few exceptions, schools have become an authoritative place to herd children into thinking the world works only in one way and that all they need to do to be successful is get good grades and be obedient. This mindset crushes creativity and births employees rather than innovators and entrepreneurs.
Critical thinking and logic are often ignored in favor of convenience for the school system.
