Coming in at #5 is the Star down in Tallahassee Jordan Travis. I think Travis has serious Heisman potential this year.
At #4 is someone I feel like has been in college for over a decade – Oregon’s Bo Nix.
Maybe this is finally the year those “Dark Horse Heisman Predictions” come true.
3rd is another familiar name — Mack Brown’s QB1 down in Chapel Hill Drake Maye.
2nd is another big time out-west transfer that more people need to know about — Washington’s Michael Penix Jr.
I have a bet on Penix for Heisman in 2023.
And #1 is absolutely no surprise at all – the defending Heisman Winner Caleb Williams from Southern Cal.
Williams will be looking to become only the 2nd multi-year Heisman Winner in history alongside Archie Griffin
