Diane Wooden talks to NASA Social media followers about the science objectives of LADEE mission.
NASA Ames invited 15 social media followers to see behind the scenes of a remote rover test between Astronaut Luca Parmitano on the ISS and a rover at NASA Ames on July 26th, 2013. The goal of the mission was to understand how future missions could remotely control rovers to complete tasks like deploying an antenna on the surface of the moon. There were afternoon tours of IRIS and LADEE mission operations centers and briefings on other missions NASA Ames is involved in.
