The UK has begun rolling out the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine. Britain has already vaccinated around one million people with the Pfizer-BioNTech shot. Britain has 530,000 doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine, and 100 million more have been ordered. Six hospitals in England are administering the first doses, with the programme due to reach hundreds of other sites in coming days. To stretch the supply, the authorities are looking to offer a first dose to as many people as possible, while delaying the second shot.
