Please join us for the 43rd in our series 'Changing the way we work' on Friday, April 22nd at 7:55-9:15am. Family doctors can now prescribe Nirmatrelvir/Ritonavir (Paxlovid), a new antiviral drug that can reduce the risk of hospitalization and death among patients at high-risk for developing serious illness from COVID-19. But many questions remain. Which patients would benefit the most? What risks should we be aware of? How do we manage drug interactions? Where can patients get the medications? How do we navigate differences between patient eligibility and expert scientific advice?
