This video presents some practical tips for optimizing outcomes with the iStent Inject W© (iStent Inject Wide© - Glaukos Corporation), a new FDA-approved trabecular meshwork bypass device for IOP reduction in glaucoma. The iStent inject W© is one of the MicroInvasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) devices designed to lower IOP by bypassing the trabecular meshwork and enhancing the conventional aqueous outflow pathway. This new iStent device is a FDA-approved intraocular MIGS device for the treatment of early to moderate primary open-angle glaucoma in the setting of cataract surgery. This device is wider than the previous iStent Inject© and iStent© versions and is supposed to enhance the outflow pathway more efficiently.
