Here's how to do it:

Prepare the clay: Roll out the clay to a thickness of about 1 Cm.
Put your design leaf on a clay: I'm not using real leaf actually i draw my favorite leaf then i use the sketch. You can draw it on a paper or plastic bags 😉 making sure to get all of the details.

Trim the edges: Use a knife to trim the edges of the leaf, making sure to remove any excess clay.
Carve the details: Use a knife to carve the details of the leaf, such as the veins and edges.
Smooth the surface: Use a pottery tools or skewer to smooth out the surface of the leaf.
Let the clay dry: Allow the clay to dry completely.
Then you could trim back of the leaf
Now is ready for kiln .
