Burnt Rv Power Plug Why Does This Happen

Have you ever wondered why your RV power plug got burnt? These plugs are expensive and after it happened to me i asked a licensed electrician why does that happen sometimes. The electrician was nice enough to send some time explaining to me that if you plug is not connected completely flush this can cause the neutral wire to spark inside and heat up enough to "burn " the wire. The problem can also occur if the receiving plug :the campgrounds receiver that you plug into" is loose on the inside, he suggested each time you connect you should wiggle it gently and if your connection is VERY loose you should notify the campground right away and have them test it before your go and trust your connection. better to be safe than sorry... hope this helps some of you :)
