Boeings Troubled Starliner Spacecraft Attempts Return To Earth

Boeing Starliner CST-100 is scheduled to return to Earth on Friday, September 6. The spacecraft experienced thruster failures and gas leaks on its June 5th launch, calling into question its safety for its crew's return to Earth.

The 8-day mission will turn into 8 months aboard the International Space Station for astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunni Williams, as they are scheduled to return on a SpaceX capsule in February 2025.
