Aha Heart Stroke Ball 2017

The American Heart Association's Los Angeles Heart and Stroke Ball celebrated its best year ever, raising more than $800,000 for the fight against the nation's leading health threats. The event paid tribute to the late Konrad Reuland, a former NFL player from Southern California whose heart saved the life of Hall of Fame baseball player, Rod Carew. Actress and singer Ilisa Juried shared her story of surviving a cardiac arrest, thanks to bystanders who administered CPR. Both stories touched many. The Heart and Stroke Ball, which drew over 380 guests, was led by Kurt Ritter, chairman and CEO of Saatchi and Saatchi LA and Team One. Toyota was the presenting sponsor for the fourth year in a row.
