Alright, Duelo Maestro! Probably the most random level I have ever beaten!
Little bit of a backstory, I was watching my friend @45KU play this and I got inspired to beat this! Also I watched Sikky's video and I got more motivated to try and learn this!
So the gameplay of Duelo Maestro is interesting. For the one player parts, I have nothing bad to say. I love the variety of gamemodes and I would say they are all pretty balanced. The robot after the first dual is kind of tricky and the memory section before the second dual is very exciting and probably one of my favorite build-ups on any level! The first dual is fairly easy because you play with both the Spacebar and the Up arrow key at the same time. The trickiest part is by far the wave but the ship is also tricky to execute.
The second dual is the real challenge of this level when you want to do it solo. Honestly I had a lot of fun learning each part and it was the most satisfying thing to do all together! The dual ball is the hardest part in my opinion just because it has the most awkward click pattern. Also the wave/ship dual is pretty tricky but I was very consistent with it and it's my favorite part of the dual. The ending mystery orb section is cool but extremely nerve wracking and thankfully I didn't die!! Overall, much better gameplay than I expected!!
Tge decoration is nothing insane but this is a 2.0 level so, I can't really expect a lot. I like the variety of themes and colors the level has and it is not boring to play over and over again. I especially like the memory section before the second dual where the colors change with the music, it makes such an intense atmosphere! The deco on the second dual could have been better but it was probably simple in order not to confuse the player so, I am not complaining! :)
Even though this was a brand new experience for me, I had surprisingly a lot of fun with Duelo Maestro!! (Probably because I didn't die at the end lol) I recommend this level if you have a friend who is solid at GD or if you want the extra challenge, you can definitely give it a shot solo!!
