we came 9th overall in 2017 with a higher jump!

the london redbull soapbox course is one of the most challenging in the world due to the sheer steepness of the road by the end of the course you can be travelling over 45mph (the supra hit 46.3mph over the finish line ) the jumps may not look huge but the kicker ramp stands over 1.1metre high.

All soapboxes have to adhere to a strict set of guidelines and pass a pre-race MOT the day before . And while you can build them huge (measuring up to 2m wide 2.5m high and 3.5m long) they can be no more than 80kg in weight excluding pilots, must have two braked wheels and braking must be independent of the steering (ie no skid steer)
