February 27, 2022 Manhattan, NY: A fatal accident occurred at West 178 street and Henry Hudson Parkway under the George Washington Bridge. Just before 3:00 a.m., police units responded to an accident where a car went off the road and landed onto the Amtrak train tracks, causing the vehicle to catch fire, cops said.
According to police officials, two fatalities were reported in the motor vehicle accident and vehicle fire that occurred after the vehicle fell to the train tracks. NYPD highway CIS was requested to aid in the fatal accident investigation.
