Toyota’s Distracted Driving Virtual Reality Simulator With Oculus Rift

Toyota’s TeenDrive365 Distracted Driving Simulator with Oculus Rift will be in NYC at the New York Auto Show (April 1 – 12). Oculus Rift provides the most realistic virtual-reality experience available, and this is the first time the technology is being used to educate drivers about the dangers of distracted driving.

The simulator is installed in an actual Toyota vehicle so that users are immersed in a 360 degree virtual reality that shows how everyday behaviors can affect their ability to drive safely.
